Our camp facilities

The rustic camping facilities of each camp border thousands of acres of Los Padres National Forest and Ventana Wilderness, offering excellent opportunities for hiking, backpacking and action-filled week-long sessions of leadership development. The experience of living and supporting each other in the outdoors is perfect for personal growth. Participants learn and practice the outdoor skills necessary to live in nature.

 

Piney Creek Camp, Greenfield, CA

Located along East Carmel Valley Road on the Eastern side of the Ventana Wildness, the beautiful scenic facility has flush toilet and shower buildings, a field kitchen and outdoor dining. Delicious camp meals are prepared by parent volunteers with a Staff Kitchen Manager. Participants sleep in tents they bring with them. There are medical clinics and hospitals located in nearby Soledad, Greenfield, and Salinas.

Camp Pico Blanco, Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA

Located on Palo Colorado Road, East of Big Sur on the Monterey Coast, and located in the majestic Old Growth Redwoods the facility has flush toilet and shower buildings and a full kitchen and dining hall. Delicious camp meals are prepared by parent volunteers with a Staff Kitchen Manager. Participants sleep in tents they bring with them. There medical clinics and  hospitals located in nearby Monterey.
