Volunteer During Camp

Thank you for considering volunteering at camp! We cannot run camp without kitchen helpers. Parents are welcome to come help out for a day or more! The online sign-up system splits each day into 2 shifts. If you are staying for a full or multiple days, please sign up for both shifts each of the full days, or a single shift if staying a half day on your arrival and departure days. The times stated are flexible. We have limits on the number of persons helping in order to have a safe kitchen. Wednesday we do not serve lunch or dinner because the kids will be out hiking for those meals.

Due to the nature of the program, although volunteers will see their campers come through the meal line, except for a quick smile and "hello," volunteers may not directly interact with campers. Volunteers will stay in the main part of camp during their stay.

For sleeping arrangements, we have some rustic cabins with bunk beds and tent space. The cabins will be shared by same-gender adults. Otherwise, please bring a tent. Other items to bring: Sleeping bag, twin sheet for bunk mattress, sleeping pad if tenting, work clothes, sleeping clothes, personal hygiene items, sturdy shoes or boots, jacket, flashlight, sun hat, water bottle, and maybe a reading book. There are showers and flush toilets, otherwise camp is very primitive. Cell service can be spotty and there is no internet.
